and octane will get full 4GB of 690?

Hi,

The 690 is actually two GPU's with 2GB each, so your scene size limit will only be 2GB.
The 690 might be a bit faster (because it is two GPU's) but the 780 will have more VRAM.

If you have complex scenes, lots of large textures or need to render in very high resolution then the 2GB on the 690 might not be enough VRAM for your purposes.

if octane and c4d cannot use all VRam on SLI cards, so what's the solution for really huge projects, and they need lots lots VRAM ?
