I am part of the Company http://lightborne.com/ that created the graphics for this years Superbowl Halftime show and we used Octane render to pull it off!
Our resolution was the biggest we have ever worked with concerning animation 3780x3024. Just wanted to shout out here on the forum that Octane rocked and we could not have done it without the amazing build by MAINGEAR!

Some might remember a post I made earlier on the forum about a Quad Titan Z Build http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic. ... nz#p215719 This was specifically built to take on site to rehearsals so that we could in real time get feedback on lighting materials and design! And it did not disappoint!

So just wanted to say how much we enjoyed working with Octane and look forward to using it on future projects!

Check the show out here http://vimeo.com/118770274

Thanks Octane community!

Wow that turned out great! I did not get to watch the Superbowl. My other half decided that she wanted to watch Downton Abbey reruns (ugh!). Quick question: was the playback done with LED panels and FP together?
Anyways, thanks again for sharing this.

impressive rig!!!

do you used just one workstation??? what a risk!

for this type of job I would go for 3-4 twin systems with slight less performance not water cooled and some spare gpus.
