Ghm, if You're using ton of textures &/or running close to max vRam maybe "out-of-core" feature is trigerred? You're on standalone? If so, what version? Have You tried openning on other? =)

Also download msi afterburner to check if there something wrong/spikes in the gpu usage

ok. think I solved it!
One problem was, that the "save project with all assets" command
from C4D did not copy all textures to the tex folder.
So I had to asign all my axyz-people textures again.
Don't know, why they haven't bein copied.
Second, I hat point-caches for some walking people, which I did not
copy to the other PC. Not sure, but I think, that was the main issue.
But nevertheless I'm really surprized, that this caused so much problems whith rendering.
Therefore something like the Rebus "Farmizer" Check scene function would be nice to have!
To buy a better power supply was certainly not a bad decision anyway!
