Hi,
Just wanted to use motion blur with an aircraft.
1) The propellor rotates fast but I cannot see any motion blur. Do I do something wrong?
2) I attached the camera to the aircraft. Here, there is motion blur on the aircraft itself even if it does not move (because it moves with the camera). What am I doing wrong?
Regards,
Thomas

There are two kinds of motion blur. Camera and Object. For the propeller you need to use object motion blur. To render object motion blur you need to generate the animation for your scene from the animation tab of the Octane settings window. Once you have done that you will be in Animation Mode. While in animation mode you should see the blur for the propellers. Hope that helps.

Hi,
Thank you for your answer.
I don't find it in the Animation tab. Do I have the wrong version (2.06.0050)? I only have "Camera Motion Blur" and "Render Single Frame" as checkboxes.
Best wishes,
Thomas
