I just used the head to test my fur technique. I saved the XSI hair as a geometry object, and there's a about 240,000 polys. I'm using diffuse material, but would you use that for hair in Octane? Crit me please.

it looks nice but one big thing, make it brownish, like the head texture on the neck. it's going the blend much better. give it also a slight specular with a bit of roughness.

I'm going to try that, thanks. After doing a little reading on the subject, I think I'm also going to try an undercoat of shorter hairs.

what did you use for baking geometry??
