hi

im running a hp xw4600 workstation with intel quadcore Q9650 3GHz, 8 GB RAM and two 500gB disk drives and a qudro fx 1700 with a 460W power supplie.

to have more fun with octane, I'd like to insert a second grafic card.

anyone a suggestion for a model, that doesn't ruin the power supplie of my cofiguratiom?

Well the obvious answer would be a gtx400 series card, but we don't know if you have a secondary PCIe slot. Either way you would need to look at maybe a bigger, more powerful power supply to go in the HP. If it is a standards atx, or even btx, type psu then you should be able to replace it easily. If not, and I wouldn't be too surprised if it isn't, then you might have to get in contact with HP about a replacement psu.
System 1: EVGA gtx470 1280Mb and MSI gtx470 1280 in Cubix Xpander for Octane, AMD 945, 4Gb Ram
All systems are at stock speeds and settings.
