Hi,
excuse me again for nerving you with such a problem!
After hours of trying I cannot find a solution.
I have the following problem:
I have a large scene (animation project) which I rendered 5 days ago
independently on 2 Computers (no network-rendering - I copied the project to the
second PC and started rendering other frameranges from that PC)
(1 x Main Workstation DualXeon with 2 Titan Cards, 1 x i7 2006K with 1 Titan-Z)
On "both" Computers with Oct 2.16 one frame rendered in about 1 1/2 minutes.
Now the strange:
I updated to 2.20 on both Computers and made a few changes in the scene.
I again copied the whole changed project to the second Computer with the Titan-Z.
On the main Computer with the 2 Titans one frame still renders in about 1 1/2 minutes,
but on the Computer with the Titan-Z it suddenly takes " 9 " minutes for one frame to render.
With exact same Render-settings (DL 300 samples etc..)
It seams, that suddenly my Titan-Z is running 4 times slower than before.
But why??????????
I deleted all octane dat, reinstalled the 2.20, reinstalled NVidia drivers,
recopied the scene with all assets, compared octane settings on both computers,
Whatever I try - Titan-Z needs 9 minutes for one frame, but needed 1 1/2 minutes 5 days ago.
I have to render 3.000 frames again (with changes I made) over the weekend and
need to get my 1 1/2 min rendertime back!
Has anyone an idear what could have went wrong here?
Whatelse can I check? What have I missed maybe?
thanks
Mike

Hi,
solved!
I removed the Titan-Z completely from the mainboard
and placed it back in again. I built in another older nvidia card
and disabled that older card in octane settings completely
and set the priority of the 2 titan-z GPUs to high.
Now the Titan-Z renders as expected.
Sorry for confusion!
