Using Mix texture nodes along with displacement. I am seeing no results, any way to accomplish this?

Yes, you can use a image sequence with Octane. Load it in the image editor like any other sequence for the native LW engine and use it in the Octane texture image node. To see the animated effect in real time in the IPR window you should enable the "Mat Upd" option.

you can use rasterized LW procedurals mixed to your hearts content....as long as they are combined before the rasterizer node.
Which means for displacement, ironically you can combine LW procedurals but not octane.
