I think i'm overthinking this but since Octane works in Meter units, do I need to keep my maya units in meters?
for example, if I have a bottle that is 20cm tall, can I have my units set to CM in maya prefs and just model it to a size 20units? Or do I need to keep maya units to meters and model it .20 units? I noticed that I have maya set to CM and now I'm worried that all my bottles are 20m tall, not 20cm, thus affecting all the lighting and material calculations in unrealistic ways.
Super basic question...Setting units in Maya plugin?
