Include/Exclude Objects to specific lights

Hej,

i was just wondering if there is the possibility to tell a light to only light up a specific object.
Like in the cinema 4d standard lights under "project" include or exclude object.
This function seems not to work for me.

Any ideas or suggestions?

too bad...
I think a lot Cinema 4D users "fake" light situations like this.
Actually i can only speak for me, but during many years of working with Cinema i'm doing that very often.
Not only faking "real" lighting scenes but also for abstract things i would really appreciate the possibility to do that.

Oh it would be really handy indeed, but this request has been asked many times before and the answer was it was to difficult to implement without render times taking a severe penalty.

Personally I would like the option....with maybe a disclaimer :)

I would not wait to implement this. But it's a core feature, not possible to implement in plugins.
