I'm just curious, but in effect I must give complete bank account access to a third party in order to purchase Octane. I'm confused by this since that means you don't take Visa or anything else. Just Paypal which is entirely a different beast. (I've exhausted my free paypal access, and I won't give any third party entity access to my bank accounts.)

Hi Hydra,

When you get through to payment, paypal should give you an option to pay by credit card only (without permanently giving your details to paypal)
(see attached images)

The only other payment option is to do an international bank transfer, but this should be used as a last resort, due to the delay and fees involved (it can take a week and some users report very large fees charged by their bank).

Paypal does not do that.

It only offers "pay with paypal account", or "create paypal account". I have no say in the matter.

Can you find out why? I had to get a friend to buy it for me.
