How to make light with texture ?

HI,

I need to create lighting setup with a texture. With cinema 4d material, i using the "luminance channel" and i drop the texture emission which i want and that's it.
But in octane, how i can do that ?

For example in this image, how i can transform the windows in source emission of light ? it's possible ?

yes, i can. But i don't prefer. Anyway i'll do it now as a exception. If i spend lot of time for this kind of support, i can't work on plugins anymore.

No it's ok i find it.

But it's not the solution of my problem because this solution need to using light.
And me i want to make this effect with a texture which apply on a mesh, not on a light, like the "luminance channel" of C4D

This time it's ok. i find it.

If you using a diffuse material, in emission channel > blackbody emission > drop the texture. And it's works :D

You should know this, Octane has not any light except daylight. Arealights are just a mesh with some materials. This materials have a blackbody or texture emission. So it's possible by done manually with materials. Both is same because of this.
Use diffuse material with blackbody or texture emission. Put any image to same slots as in arealights. Also see new parameters "cast illumination" and "surface brightness". Compare sub parameters from octane lighttag. Also use a object tag over this meshes.

Additionally, always check interactive help window. I'll keep it actual with some updates. It has some interal samples scenes also.
