I can mask a material with the mix material, and I see in order to use a displacement with mix material you have to have it part of the mix, but then it effects everything. Is there a way to mask a displacement?

Or is there a way to set bump above one. I am trying to make a brick texture with the generators and a grid type mask. But the bump just isn't enough... So I am trying displacement and cant mask it then...

Thanks

Pls see the Octane Notes in my signature for the answers to some of your questions on Displacement. Do not mix bump and displacement. The displacement map is used in it's raw format - you cannot tweak it with other nodes - instead change the actual displacement map outside Octane.
