hi
I've been rendering happily all weekend (and for months off and on) and suddenly my DAZ scenes (tried many) won't render the texture files of a character. Works ok in Carrara so I believe the card is ok.
screen shot attached. Have I accidentally altered a setting somewhere. Not sure how to go about fixing this atm.
Any help appreciated.
UPDATE. The issue is that it's not copying over the material data from the characters. I've set up a brand new scene file and added in a low poly character. Octane isn't taking the data across and yet if I apply from the live DB we are fine. As I say my Carrara install is fine.

I've found that ensuring the "Automatic updates after content loads" is checked is solving my problem for new scene files, but I've still not got my existing scene files to load the material data.
Just updating here in case anyone else gets stuck like me.
No idea how that became unchecked. Random unnoticed mouse click I guess.

If you accidentally uncheck that option as I must have done, you can quickly rebuild the missing materials in one fell swoop by selecting the missing drop down in the materials tab (under scene surfaces) and all will be restored.
I would have spent all morning setting up multiple scenes like this before realising on the last one, but hey ho I hope I've helped if you have gone down a similar path.

A video of my issue and how to get around it (inc. how to avoid crashes with version 1.2).
