planning on purchasing second license for standalone and LW plugin.

question, when I use the IPR preview window on one computer can or will it use the GPU's from networked computer?

also, I use octane to render out animations sometimes over 4000 frames, time it takes to send info to the GPU is important and needs to happen as quick as possible as an extra 4 seconds each frame can add up. what is the time delay when using networked GPU'S? "pretty sure my network is setup as 100mbs"

thanks

Yes, the IPR can use the Octane native network rendering like the final F9/F10 rendering.

For rendering animations with long loading/updating time it is better to work with LWSN (if you have a combo license, standalone+plugin, in each render node). You are going to get better render times because each node can load/update the scene at the same time than the other nodes.

Additional update times for network nodes are typically 2-4 seconds for the first frame and a fraction of a second (0.1-0.5) for every consecutive frame on a 100MB network.
