Hey,

I've been trying to use the Octane 2.16.2 demo on C4D R16 for Mac OSX 10.9.3.

I can't seem to get the material editor working, it's just showing a blank window..

It's working absolutely fine on C4D R14 though. I tried the R14 and R15 _demo.dylib files in the R16/plugins folder too but no success. Any ideas?

sorry for late answer,
can you see the octane menu? If yes, can you see gpu(s) in octane settings?

No problem,

I can see it, yes, I have a GTX Titan Black card installed.

If I load up scenes that I'd created in previous versions of the demo, I can see the materials in the Material Manager, but just don't have the ability to adjust the material settings.

The scene also renders fine, although I'm no longer seeing the GPU stats overlaid on the render as I did in previous versions.

What's your previous and actual version infos? Do you see any error message when you select and open material editor? Can you send to me a few of your scenes? It sounds weird for me. Maybe a missing/wrong install.
For on-screen render infos; you can activate and switch them by clicking to live viewer's top half area. Also there is some checkboxes to on/off in octane settings->others section.

Ok so I re-downloaded and reinstalled the plugin and all seems to be working fine now, must have been a corrupt file or something.. problem solved!

Thanks for the tip on clicking the live viewer's top half too, got all my render stats back now.
