1. Use real video as Diffuce map... or a series of pictures (for example having a mirror reflect true footage
2. Use world texture with a (don't mind if it is a static) picture? I tried it first time today and it didn't work... should I have tried with an HDR pic to make it work?
Thank you
Can I do this with OctaneBlender?

Hi Syntercat, do you mean The Environment Texture?
Setup is a bit strange but possible:
http://render.otoy.com/manuals/Blender/?page_id=77
Part 3.
Never tested image strips or video for textures, if I find some time I will test this.
Cheers, mib

Thanks, it worked for a while, then I played a bit with the settings on the video to change frame and just got a blank background now... will check into it

The anim does not play, you can change frames only by tweaking offset, maybe Jimstar needs to check it out... I have to perform a ton more tests about it
