First post and I wanted to share my first automotive test render using Octane.

what was your material setup for the floor? It has a nice smudgy look to it...did you use a mix material to do this?
I'm still a bit new to octane and having a bit of trouble getting a look like this since octane doesn't use a layered material system.

simple indeed! haha. i feel like when i do that it ends up just looking like "a cg shader with some roughness added", while this looks a bit more realistic than that. might just be your lighting setup/post work that's making yours look better.
