How to set/export 3d max camera and light direction in demo

The same question as in title.

How to set the camera to be the same as in 3d max, or how to export 3d max camera and light direction to Octane Demo?

BTW. I believe that exporters for demo version, just with locked resolution and without animation possibility (because of auto-saving) wouldn't be such a problem for you guys:)

Hi,

This is only possible with the 3ds max plugin for octane, which is not distributed with our demo version yet.
(we have decided to wait until all scripts are finished / finalized with regards to workflow and documented for the demo, until we add them)

You can see the 3ds max animation tutorial on our videos page to see the scripts in action.

Is this plugin script ready to use for the bought version yet? i found it a bit anoying to get the perfect angle in the scene...

yes it is, it's still in development but it's useable and people are using it for stills and animations.

I take it that the same goes for the maya plugin?

Is sketchup plugin inclued in lisenced Octane yet?

If yes, dose the plugin make the Maintain the same Camera angle in SketchUp?

Yes, the sketchup plugin is in development and some initial versions are already on the licensed versions.
However it's just started so i'd wait a bit if i we're you, i expect the sketchup plugin to be more full featured and propperly useable in about 2 weeks from now.
The camera will be exported over, as well as animation.
