I use both Team Viewer and Windows RDP, connecting from Mac to PC. Windows RDP is vastly superior to Team Viewer in terms of speed and image quality but it takes a few steps to get it to work in general. After that, you have to do a small work around to get it to work specifically with Octane due to the way it handles CUDA. I've tried 5 or 6 different remote conneciton programs over the years and none of them have been as fast as Windows RDP, so I think it's worth it to spend the extra time to get it working. Below explains how to get it to work with CUDA.

Windows RDP loads its own graphics drivers when connected. These drivers disable CUDA by default. To get CUDA to work when using RDP do the following:

1. Before you launch RDP, login to your remote computer with Teamviewer, or any other remote program. Launch your CUDA app (Octane standalone or Plugin) via your remote program.

2. Login to your remote computer with Windows RDP. Magically, CUDA works now 8-)

Note: If your CUDA program crashes or you restart it, you must shutdown RDP first, then relaunch your CUDA app with Teamviewer, before you re-login with RDP. Otherwise, RDP prevents CUDA drivers from loading.

There may be other options that work as fast and lag free as RDP but I haven't run across any. If anybody has suggestions, I'd like to hear so I can give them a whirl too!
