Hello Everybody,

maybe someone has experienced the same Problem:
I am using OctaneSky with an HDRI in directlighting, also with motionblur turned on. So far everything works fine, besides the z-depth pass, which shows black where it should be white (see image at the top center)

I tried several settings Alpha Channel / Keep Environment on /off but the background of the z-depth always stays black.

Has anyone got an idea how to fix that?

Thought this should be a simple problem on which I only overlooked something. Anyone got a clue?

My advice is to not give a sh** about Z-pass but to save additional RPF file which you can use in After Effects.

Please check this tutorial from Iain Chudleigh : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agLHxkKPDRM

And if you try it, please leave some info here if it helped you.

peace!
