The closest to this is the already existing Falloff Map. What I propose is a Normal Map that would be a gradient based on the difference of the input angle. This would be great for things like snow and grass textures that only are affected in a certain direction. For snow or grass you might input (0,0,1) for straight up, or whatever it would be for octane. Then it would have similar settings to the Falloff Map where you have an index maybe, or perhaps minimum and maximum angle. I'm sure there are many other application for a map such as this, this is just a basic example.
