Hello,

I have 7 gpus working fine, out of 10 in my hardware.
All hardware works well and tested.
But windows 7/64 reports "Error code 43 on 3 gpus" if I switch locations on pci, does not change, with different cards.

Sounds to me like system resources are being overused on the bios / motherboard.
Or it is a windows issue.

Anyone has had this issue?

Thanks.

Hi

Does switching pci give error on the same pci slots or on the same cards even in oter pci?

I had a code 43 error on my GPU on W7-64, and in my case it turned out to be that one 2-pin (of the 8pin 6+2) was not stuck in completely.
Maybe you can check all the cables, do not forget the power cables starting from the PU.

Do you use same gpu or different types? Can you give more for information for solution.
First I lloked op on internet and thought it was a driver issue using different cards... Then you might try update your driver.

i have to fully tested home made clusters of 4 gpus each ( home made cubix like expander )
they test 100% with all gpus working fine if connected separately.
i.e 2 gpus on my pc + 4 Gpus on one box.
each box is 100%
so is not cables
when i connect both, all 10 are seen on device manager but 3 are left out inactive.
I have read on forums most motherboards have a limit of 8 gpus, not because of slots, not because of bandwith, not because lack of pci lanes on the busses nor the cpu! but because a 1MB bios ram used for allocation of resources!

Using cubix or netstor would render similar issues, unless the motherboard bios can handle it.

true???
