I'd like to know, if I was to buy the beta plugin now, would I receive the final version for free when it releases, or would I have to pay again?

No, you will not need to pay again (unless you want a major version upgrade eg v2.x to v3.x). The beta licenses carry through to the final/stable release.

Ah, good to hear. Thanks :)

As for upgrading, would there be a discount for current owners, or would the price be universal?

What we did for 1.x to 2.x was increase the cost for new licenses and the upgrade cost was the difference between 1.x and 2.x
So being an existing customer was not penalized.

Hello,

Where can one download the demo version of the Daz Studio plugin? I am considering buying the Octane engine and Daz plugin but cannot spend that kind of money without testing it first. I have the demo version of the Octane Render engine but cannot find a demo of the Daz plugin anywhere. I'm probably just looking in the wrong place. :)

Thank You

Hello,

Before I purchase the Octane Render engine and the Daz Studio plugin, I would just like to know if the OR settings specified with the plugin are stored in the .duf project file or some other file in addition to the .duf file?

I would basically like to setup a scene, render it, do a "Save As" in order to get a copy of the scene I just rendered, and then modify the new scene (change the character expressions/poses) but not have to re-setup all the lighting/camera, etc.

Thank You

JM
