I started a new scene installed stonemason prop, created new camera all is good.
but when I save the scene and open the scne again the focus is greyed out again
this is daz 4.7 octane pluging 2.15 latest release 5 etc

this happens each time regardless if its old scene or a new one
if you save and open once more you get the greyed out.

imo the "only" bug is (fixed with next update), that the octane camera isn't linked to the frame width for the default cameras. the focal length should have no effect, since the octane twins for the default cameras doesn't use dof (and focal length doesn't affect fov)...

yes have tried multiple ways ./ tried going back to perspective and back to camera one
or creating camera two etc
I even tried starting a blank scene adding a primitive creating new camera 1
then merging the old scene inside the blank one
that's worked
but then I saved it , closed daz
and reopened the scene again
and bingo bango greyout again.
lost in nirvana.
the curse of the grey out lol.

I just test this new version, I didn't test all the previous 2.1 pre release.

I always see the problem with geografted genital, when you load it, material tab don't work correctly. I know I can use Geometry Shell, but I stop using OcDS because of that problem.

Did you have any tricks without using geometry shell?

all dead
OCDS doent work anylonger
wont render
, I tried installing version 1.2 / 1.5 and no luck
see attaché print screen .
does anybody know where I can get old version of daz 4.6 and old version of OCDS to go back to a working file
there are way to many bugs to not use this version at all.
to render nothing is a complete failure of the plugin .
if I can finf daz 4.6 I will go back to OCDS 1.1

either activate live (leftmost button in the viewport), or click reload.
since 1.2/1.5/2.x share the same settings file, the switch is on or off for all of them...

a ps: there is an awful lot of buttons, but there is also a lot of help texts already built in;

either clicking one of the '?' buttons or by pressing F1 a so-called "what's this" help mode is activated: the cursor icon changes, at first to a stop sign, and whenever you hover over a ui element with some help text behind, the cursor icon changes again to a ? - now just click on the button/checkbox/control/whatever, and the help text shows up.

there is even a brief information about the meaning of most octane values, which can be reached by clicking the value/pin names (if the "what's this help mode is active)...

I don't think so yet. I've been keeping on eye on this too. Applying a geograft will let me apply a material, but it destroys areas on the base mesh so it is still unusable.
