thanks all!
a couple notes:
there are a few things i'm going to fix around today/tomorrow for a quick patch:
- object layers are not fully respected when collapsing meshes, probably causing some visibility issues (in final only).
- the shadow visibility switch apparently doesn't work (at least as expected).
apart from that:
- pls drop me a note if there are still problems with .duf load/save for materials; there were some strange things going on in the 4th pre-release, that i couldn't ever reproduce, and in case if, i'd need somebody with problems for a debugging session.
- in case of problems with mouse wheel zooming (viewport and maybe nge): that had start to happen here for no reason a week back, maybe because of a mouse driver update, and i had to change a number of things to make it work again. might have happen, that it had the reverse effect for others - i'm going to check that out with leblancd who apparently has this problem now, in order to find a general solution...

Okay, first thing I noticed right off the bat: the Perspective View seems to be broken in the OcDS viewport. (ver 2.15)
Changing aspect ratios from inside the OcDS Render Settings tab only changes the frame dimension in the OcDS viewport while in the DS viewport it not only changes the frame dimension but also makes the appropriate focal length adjustment.
This does not affect additional cameras, however.
Perhaps this is not a bug but a feature? If it's the latter, I would like to know how to turn it off; I'd prefer my Perspective View to behave the same way as my extra Cams. Might it be the "Perspective Correction Control" that t_3 is referring to in the changelogs above? I don't even know what that function does to be honest...
The second thing I noticed, the camera focus buttons in the OcDS viewport are still getting randomly greyed out for additional cameras. The only way I know to fix this is to restart DS and pray the problem goes away - it usually does.
So I've gone ahead and submitted 2 bug reports for each of the problems above. I hope they reach t_3 quickly and he has time to review them before releasing the quick patch.
Would love to hear if anyone is experiencing the same issues, and if you have remedies for them.
Cheers!

This has happened to me as well. I had opened the viewport in perspective view, before creating a camera. I added a camera to the scene and I could never get the controls to "ungrey" no matter what I tried. Hope this helps debug. The second thing I noticed, the camera focus buttons in the OcDS viewport are still getting randomly greyed out for additional cameras. thanks for adding that detail. sheds more light on what possibly happens...sixb0nes wrote:This has happened to me as well. I had opened the viewport in perspective view, before creating a camera.
