Is it true that there is a limit in output size at 3000pixels?
Thanks
Limits in output size?
Hi mate,Jorgensen wrote:Oh ok - phew
actually I have played around with output limit size and it turns out to be an issue.
For a very tiny scene max resolution is 8000x8000 (or equivalent like 16000x4000). When I make it bigger it starts to hit the limit of 32bit address space. So loading a large scene and trying to render it with 8k x 8k resolution will inevitably cause plugin to crash at some point.
I'll increase the limit to 4k x 4k as it seems to be a safe for large scenes.
But if you want your images to be rendered with more than 4k x 4k resolution you can always export scene to .ocs and render it using x64 Octane Standalone (up to 32k x 32k)
as sketchup has moved to 64bit, is this still an issue? or has it nothing to do with this?

hi fuzzibro
is there any news regarding the 4096px limit?
the reason i ask is that i'm been asked to create a large image for at poster. i know that it's possible to export to standalone, but i find the standalone a bit complicated, compared to skechup.
thanks

Hi Jorgensen,
The limit has been removed in Octane4SU 2015 x64 however some users reported that it's not very stable so you have two options:
1) Edit all your scenes in stable 2014 and below versions and then open it in 2015 x64 do to the final rendering
2) Go with the x64 straight away and report what breaks (or breaks not) so I can fix it in the next build.
Cheers
