People are asking about it since forever. As well as the axis brackets to move/scale/rotate the objects in the rendering window, like any 3D app.

Btw, the poll should be updated, because basically all the features listed (with the exception of Volumetrics, Particles and Multi UVs) are now implemented.

I totally agree that OTOY needs to update the list. No sense on keeping already implemented features.

It would be nice to be able to write custom shader/texture code that runs on the GPU, that way we could design any kind of procedural texture. One example would be a non-repeating tile texture where each tile is randomly selected from parts of a source image or another procedural texture (if that's already possible please let me know :)).

Having used both keyshot and octane, one thing I miss in octane are the lighting/environment presets. It's very handy to be able quickly test multiple lighting scenarios on a model to see what it looks like. It would be cool if we had something like the liveDB where users could share their light setups/environments.

I'm not going to read 19 or so pages to see if this has been suggested, so please forgive me if it has already...

I'd simply like an autosave feature, it seriously narks me off setting up a render for the program to crash and losing sometimes hours of work. I'm getting into the habit of doing it my self, but when I forget because I'm wrapped up in what I'm doing... Let's say the hissy fit for the lost time and effort sends the dog running. :x

An awesome addition to Octane, would be anamorphic lens flares!

Are there any plans to add at least one free render node to Standalone/plugin
and get network rendering ?

Currently I'm using one machine with one GFX card
this solution is more energy efficient.

From time to time I would like to use my second machine
with same GFX board, to speed up my work-flow.
I would like to avoid unplugging GFX card just for one day job.
