We're currently using Deadline with Octane and it's working GREAT! (C4D plugin) My studio has now 17 or 18 quad Titan workstations. With Deadline we can FINALLY use all that horsepower at once. (The studio is noticeably warmer when someone is rendering!)
Thanks for info! =)

Hi Alec,
Octane is not listed as a supported app. How do you use Deadline with Octane? Through Max?

Does this Deadline software allow for all GPUs to work on the same frame at the same time or it distrubutes different frames to different GPU clusters ?

Thanks Alec. That link confirms Octane stadalone is supported. Great news. But... another company that doesn't publish pricing info (or did I miss it?). How annoying.

Could you share something on their pricing model?

Cheers,

I have hit a 7 Gpu limit that is not slot / space related but apparently a bios / motherboard bios ram issue.... anyone there with over 8 gpus on one motherboard?

apparently the windows 8 limit is a mith, and it is a chipset issue / ram on bios.

as in 2 cubix expanders with total of 8 or more gpus plus main pc box gpus?

those that got more than 8 gpus working, can you please share your motherboard model and os?

thank you
