I just got a new motherboard (Asus P8Z77-M) because I wanted to upgrade my RAM to 32 Gbyte,
I installed a new Windows 7 (64-bit) and updated my NVidia card to latest version.
I have GeForce GTX 690 card and every time I start rendering using the stand alone version I get a black screen as if the VGA stops and nothing is displayed on the monitor.
This happens also when I use the Daz plugin, every time I load a scene in DAZ studio and before the scene is loaded all my screen
is black. I disable the DAZ plugin and rendering using the default Daz render engine and the render finish with no error or crash.
Help please!

no clue frankly. But my advice is that the general forums are a better place to post because this does not seem plugin specific.

My question would be are you using the GTX690 as a rendering device as well as a display device? are you able to use an onboard/integrated graphics card for display to see how that works for you?

I will post the question on the general forum...
Yes I use GTX690 as a rendering device as well as a display device
I will try now to use the built in graphics for display

I switched the display to the build in vga Card and used the Nvidia Card in octane render stand alone but the system crashes again....

Finally we get the root cause of the freeze.
The VGA fan was not functioning properly, it was stuck.
I had it fixed and now the render is working fine!
Thank you all!
