After a very successful C4DAPT I have put on line the Artwork I made for this event. Its a hand full of pens rendered in Octane as photo realistic as possible.

I hope you enjoy!

A shout out goes to Cornelius Dämmrich who modeled the Edding marker and the Parker ball pen.

For a bigger resolution you can go to my WEBSITE

I hope you like it!

Cheers,
Raphael

If You wouldn't have included wires, I would have said it's a fake!
Like a snapshot with high-end camera =) Nice work, Raphael!

@ Rikk The Gaijin
Thank you very much. It means a lot coming from you!

@ Tugpsx
Thanks a lot. I really appreciate that you also like my portfolio :-)

@ Lewis
Thanks a lot. Yes without good geometry there is no realistic rendering :-)

Thanks @ all for all the feedback! I really appreciate it!

I am really surprised nobody was asking about spects :-) So if someone is interested:
I rendered with the C4D plugin of Octane. So thanks Ahmet for making this possible!
Rendering took 2:30 H for a clean 4K resolution. (Thats about 35 Minutes for FullHD)
I used Pathtracing with a ray depth of 100 (max) and 5000 Samples.
The rendering devices were 1 x GTX Titan and 1 x GTX 780

Cheers,
Raphael
