What kind of MB do you use? object MB or vertex one?
Could you send me a scene?

Thank you for looking at it i just send you the scenes and alembic.
I'm using the default motion blur in the standalone version of the scene and the shutter internal is 100%...can i switch to something else in the standalone?
In maya for scene with one sphere I use "internal" motion blur and object set to "reshapable proxy" or "movable proxy" (same result).
I know it's a max forum but i posted here because i was felling it was a related problem :)

Thank's Goldisart doesn't seem like it, could be a little bit more noticeable with a sphere going fast in one direction though ;) but anyway Karba told me that he can't reproduce it in 3ds max. :)
He can see the bug in the standalone scene i send him so he will send it to the standalone developer guys! I'll probably know more later! :D

I don't have pictures, but I think I found out the case where it happens. It is between animation frames. This is why if you have a long smooth animation you do do not see it, but when you do physics calculations and it saves a new keyframe for every frame, then you see it. I have no idea why that would be but in a weird way it kind of makes sense.
