i thik hdri image has some colored gradient effect in proper place. Becouse as a lighing soruce there is no effect on materials but in high index of refraction value like 2.5, hdri image is collapsing and colorgradient texture is apperaing only in this places i mean optically only in refractive object like glass which has 2.5 or more ior value. just loudly thinking :)

The diamond is a diffuse material , with a map from a rendering I did of a diamond with dispersion on a transparent background . Standard Studio HDRI . Some minor Lens Flare also for effect.
