Hello

I'm blown away by Octane, this is a must have! There's one issue with the demo I can't figure out, though:

I've applied an Octane material (OctDiffuse) to a relief object, and I can't load anything into the displacement slot. It won't take procedural stuff like noise, even. I click the browser, chose my item, hit OK and the slot is still blank.

I'm on Cinema 4D R15 R15.057, OctaneRender 2.06 (2060000) in demo mode.
Trying to load a 8192*8192 TIFF file. I've tried 16-bit greyscale, 8-bit RGB and even PNG and JPEG files.

Can't seem to find it in the demo limitations, either.

Would very much like to see how it handles displacements, we use them a lot!

Other than that, thanks for developing such an awesome renderer!!

Hey,
you can't connect textures directly. First you should create a octane displacement node then place a imagetexture to input. It would not use procedural textures of octane. But i added a functionality for c4d shaders. This allow to use c4d shaders. It will convert to images internally and used as images.
Thx for comments, best
