Coherent ratio in PT doesn't seem to do anything.

But why, how can I test the speed benefit of different coherent values if it doesn't work in IPR anymore ?

This option is disabled in the IPR because it is not useful at all with few samples/pixel. In the IPR you only get dancing splotches for any interactive operation.

I liked the strobo/psycho effect, but then again that's just me.

This just hit me, is it possible to implement object picking in IPR, like we have with surface but with CTRL+click it would select that object ? Is this a good idea ?

Juanjo - this is not any kind of real bug or anything, but I was playing with Polygon Side on Emission objects - just to test something - and stumbled upon something... When you have Octane light properties open - and make a change in there while an object (other than light) is selected, the change does not happen in IPR, and you actually need to reload IPR to see change. This is somewhat unexpected behavior. I would think that making a change in the light properties would be updated in IPR regardless of what object, bone etc was currently selected... No biggie. Just thought I would point this out.
Something else I never stumbled upon - which is kind of cool - is plugging Falloff into Emission > Efficiency... gonna have to play some more - could be some neat uses for this...

You can select an object picking in the IPR with SHIFT+Right mouse button. From the online docs:BorisGoreta wrote:This just hit me, is it possible to implement object picking in IPR, like we have with surface but with CTRL+click it would select that object ? Is this a good idea ?
"IPR materials and objects picking
The user can select the surface under the cursor with SHIFT+Left click. It is also possible select the object under the cursor with SHIFT+Right click."
