HI,

More a follow up, just looking for confirmation please that LW Fractured Objects aren't working with the Octane Plugin.

If you have object clones, try to disable the "Instance LW clones" option in the render target root node options panel. The instances can't have deformations, like an animated fracture effect.

Hi Juanjgon,

I got instances working okay....good to know they cant have deformations...its not me then.
It should be okay to render an animated fracture via Octane though as long as its not an instance?

Yes, as far I know fractures are animated like any other mesh deformation in LW, so they should work without problems.

At least in LW2015 the demo scene Breaking_distance works perfectly (though there are no instances) and renders FAST! About 1 second/frame for 400 max samples (well enough) :o :)

Very fast actually.. :)

Getting instances/fracture working with Octane/Lightwave would be cool.
