When I start Octane from Poser, I have problems with some parts such as walls and floors need to have smooth off by default, and people need to have smooth on by default.
It would be great if you could select multiple items in the materials window at the same time and then change smooth on/off on selected objects/materials.
Is there any way to do this that I missed?

Hi. PoserPython does not provide any way for plugins to determine if smoothing is on or off for a figure/prop - so you need to do this manually - sorry.

Hi Paul,
What I really meant was not that it would happen automatically.
As it is now I have to choose one material at a time to change to smooth after my models imported into the Octane.
What I wanted was an opportunity to select multiple material manually (Ctrl-click) and change the selected to "smooth" or "no smooth" in the "materials list" simultaneously. :)

Unfortunately that's not something you can do at the moment. You can however turn off smoothing for the whole scene in the configuration. So turn off smoothing n the configuration, reconvert the materials for the props/figures that don't need smoothing (rightclick the prop/figure in the Materials tree for this menu option), then turn it back on in the configuration.

Thanks, it was a good solution.
First import all with "Smooth default on" in setup, then turn it off and "reconvert this material from Poser".
Worked great, thank you :D
