Hey Guys,

here is a little trailer for our upcoming full CG Science Fiction short. This was done in a week as a proof of concept to see how fast we could deliver shots and if we could utilize octane for everything.
One frame took about 1-2 minutes in Octane with 2x Titans

Hey this is looking pretty awesome.
I really like the design aesthetic and the overall feel.

Keep it up!

Wow! Very nice! How did you do solar flares and fire. I thought you cannot render this with octane

Oh wow I did not see that this thread got bumped until now.
The funny thing is there is a 6 Minute Film sitting on my hard drive for about 6 months waiting to be released, never got around to put the final touches on it. I also keep rerendering stuff!

@Glimpse - Thanks man!

@ Colibook - The solar flares are done in post and the fire is rendered with Turbulence FD inside of Cinema 4D

@ It is Directlighting and took 60 Seconds in 1080p per frame.

The final frames are about 7 Minutes render time. I hope to get to it soon and release the final film.
