Hello,

I use octane render since many months a I like it !
I used to generate .obj and assemble them in octane with placement.
But it is not very usefull and complicated to animate properly.

So I start working with Cinema 4D wich is perfect for what I need.

I used the plugin, and all work fine.

But now, I try to animate renders, so I export ocs file trough the plugin window,
and export alembic to generate cameras movement.
I allready have little trouble to adjust camera and objects size, but that's not my probleme yet.

I have trouble with some stripes appearing when I render, dispite my materials are very simple. I think about a light not properly setup.

Here is a picture to understand what I'm talking about:

Image

On the right, you see horizontal stripe (sam on chairs)
On the left, on the small section of the wall, you can see the same stripes doing a semicircle.

Can you explain what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance,

Jerome

tweak rayepsilon value. Also check scene scaling matches real-world scales. why don't you animate via plugin?

:) It's exactly same workflow as default renderer does, only select Octanerender as renderer and set parameters. Also check this manual in picture.

you must watch this for full workflow

I was a little fast.
It works, for just the first image.

When I try in the visualization windows: it rendre just the first frame.

I tried in the render queue, same thing, but indicates me : exceeded memory

where is the problem ?

Other question, where do you find 2.12 Version?
In my account I can only see V2.06

you should look to c4d forum for versions and much more info. do you have screen shot from LV and error message screen? I'm not sure what's giving a message. But my advice to you going step by step to learn the workflow, possibilities and limits.
Have you watched the videos?

the video explain lots of things I allready know, but won't help me more for my memory problem.
I will try a lighter scene.

I mean octane plug in version. I have only the V2.06.1, and in the video (which I have watched)
it use 2.11 liveviewer (which include pathetherm power etc...)
Just wonder where to find the latest one
