Hi,
Was wondering how difficult this would be to implement? I'm thinking mainly of the channel shaders like the colour shader or multi shader, so we can shade clones depending on our mograph setups...
I know of the random colour to texture node, but this is extremely limited it seems.
Regards.
Support for Mograph Shaders

Currently it's not possible. But i have requested some revisions from Octane team for this. If they can implement my request, i'll bring this support.

Thanks aoktar,
This would be an amazing development, not just for Cinema 4D, but I'd presume most apps have an equivalent application for applying for example a selection of procedural style materials/colour shaders to specific objects/clones.
I think Vray has recently achieved this support, mind you it probably took them about 6 years...
Appreciate the reply.

Oh and also Vertex Map support in channel shader would be incredible too!
Thanks!
Thanks!

+1 for Mograph Shaders from my side as well.
Again - massive thanks for the amazing work you're putting into integrating Octane into C4D , aoktar!
The only grain of salt is the lack of the ability to use mograph shaders with Octane.
And to switch camera / reflection visibility for individual objects.
That would make motion graphics work about an order of magnitude easier.
Cheers

I suppose that the first version of support on mograph shaders will be available soon. Currently it's not possible to make it work on render instances. But i have some succes for normal instances and other type mograph objects. Like cloners, motext, fracture, moinstance.
