iceman9 I was able to assign keyboard shortcut to 'Start Octane render' command ( or any other Octane command ) in Customize Commands window (Shift+F12 on the Mac). Type Octane in the search field to find all available commands and also make sure you download the latest test version from the post above.

Edit: whoops.. Aoktar was faster than me :)

I'm familiar with adding shortcuts and see how I can add/change keyboard shortcuts to a few of the Octane commands. But the primary command I'm most interested to add...isn't listed. Once again: it's the send scene/restart command.

I might lose interest in that shortcut if livePreviewing worked more reliably.

Despite the fact that geometry updates is selected...it has either never worked. I'm on R16 on Mac.

'Start Octane render' IS the send scene/restart command. Did you try it like we suggested?
And again, make sure it's the latest test version from the second post because file names are same as before.

For geometry updates to work you need to add object tag to an object first and resend scene once. Otherwise it would be a nightmare with more complex scenes, right? Some generators, lights camera etc. update without a tag so i guess that's confusing you.

Looks great and runs without problems on Win 8.1, R16.

Why are other commands like Stop Render, Pause Render or Stop and Reset Render Data not available for keyboard shortcuts? I would love to have those!

Cheers

Hello aoktar!

Working with this new release is just a-m-a-z-i-n-g!
One thing I've noticed: clicking diffuse material button/icon creates gloss material.

I checked this video but unfortunately my installation doesn't behave at all like in the video, using the same settings.
To me, still no geometry update and the GUI menu ins't working on R15 and R16.

pBarrelas, are you sure checked "geometry updates" and used objecttag as in image? Show me more to help to you.
