I downloaded this 2.12.0 version, but the file name in the ZIP is 2.10 ?
I just found that a little strange, but perhaps it's just me being new to Octane and new to the naming conventions.

Just a little problem encountered randomly:
there is some strange behaviour around the camera response postprocess with IPR: it applies the change them but after timeline scrubbing, the response come back to initial setting: same thing happenened one time some days ago with the vignetting setting...
As said it first, the problem is not systematic and happens randomly, i don't have the time actualy to track this deeper because of work, but if it becomes more precise i'll let you know...

The .p files are going to have the "2.10" suffix for all the 2.1x releases. This is the base version (that should be only 2.1 to avoid confusions, but I don't want to change it now).

You can check in the "About" window the current plugin build that you have installed in your Layout.

Boris, can you please test the last daily build (2.12.1)? ... there is a fix in the network software that perhaps could fix also your problem.

very nice update! still missing a time to completion estimation for all frames, when rendering animations...
this would be a feature request, i guess ;-)

cheers

I have noticed that if I have a full 720p image rendered with 1000 samples it takes 2.5 minutes to finish the frame, but if I set limited region to onlz bottom half of the frame then again it takes 2.5 minutes.

Boris, I have understood that if you render only half of the picture, you should set the samples to 500 instead 1000.
