Hi Rappert,

LOL on the PSU - our PC's just found their doppelgänger :)

Actually Gigabyte for the GPU

I didn't put the PC together, I went through a company called Mwave and I new it would come with the SLI Bridge and I have been wondering the same thing,
is that causing the issue.

I was hoping to have the ability to just switch between the two options for specific needs ie Gaming / Octane without the need for touch that cable.

Removing the cable has had no effect....back to the drawing board.

Hi Laticis,

If you have the bridge on.... You still can enable and disable sli in the config.
You can turn it on for gaming and off for Octane very easily.
I noticed earlier that having the sli enabled does not make that much difference for renderspeed on Octane.
You can try it.

About the sli bridge... I was just wondering, because It hink I understood it correctly from my PC builder,
that these days the hardware bridge would not be needed to have sli running,
But I have to say I am not sure... So if somebody else could confirm or disconfirm would be nice.
Then you having the problem of not seeing the second TitanZ made me wonder if the bridge is bugging something.

Hi Rappert,

I am going to put it back on for and see that there will be a lot of testing in the future.

Both cards are there, they are showing up in Device Manager and the NVidia Profile.

Attached screen shot show one of those GPU in Octane Disabled and the clean cut down the middle for the Ms/Sec

Either I am missing something or this is what it is, but it doesn't feel right.

Hi Laticis,
The Screenshot shows two TitanZ, but in fact it is just one card with two GPU on it.
You disabled one GPU, but in fact it is one GPU of the two GPU on one videocard.
The renderspeed of less then 8 comforms this.
The renderspeed of one videocard should be appr. 15.5

So for one TitanZ videocard it shows two times in the Octane or monitor software,
If both your cards would be recognized, in Octane it should show four times a TitanZ !
Hope this makes sense.

Have you confirmation by monitoring software that both the videocards are recognized and active (outside of Octane)?

Otherwise, I would unplug one card from the mobo, and then the other to make sure they are both working seperately.

After everything I have tried, including driver update still only 2 x GPUs showing in Octane.

Hi Laticis,
Pardon my French
I mean monitoring software, by monitoring your GPU using software likE MSI afterburn or EVGA precision X.

Have you checked them seperately
I.e. by unplugging one, and then plug in only the other?
To make sure both your cards are OK?

Tried everything else and will do that next, very possible things shifted during transport.
I did have to reseat the ST HardDrive seated between the two GPUs

Need to head out for a bit, need some Lan cables for the NAS....one I get back will post an update.

Thanks heaps for all your help :)

Cheers Ady
