Hey guys, I need your help because I don't know what to do in this situation. Long story short, some company stole my images and used them to promote themselves without asking me any permission whatsoever.
If you go to this page: http://vimeopro.com/delebrity/introduction look at the first video and you will see my Walter White images, including the making of, etc.

The person who warn me about this also said that company is a scam, and he told me I should take legal actions.
I've never been in this situation before, so I ask you, what should I do? :|

Write them nicely, inform You're going to sue them if they are not going to pay for You work =) & wait an answer.

Then, if they are going to act like idiots, You can leverage social media & the word will be spread very fast =) I've seen such cases..such people usually don't want to pay..& if they know what they are doing they try to hide identities.

other thing, I'd write to VIMEO, add images write about Yourself ask to take action - I believe they should suspend the PROsite.

But I'd advise to write a letter for that company before =) maybe they will pay..

Shocking. I agree, first step should be to contact them and at least see how the land lies.

Unbelievable!

They got Larry King... They've got money. I would not write to them just yet Rikk, you may prejudice yourself. Get a lawyer in the States that's willing to work on a no-win-no-fee basis. IP theft is a big deal. You should get laywers lining up for this case.

Bear in mind this forum is public...

To be sure I firstly would save the evidence by making printscreens of exposure and their website, and save the vids they exposed.
Ask yourself if you are satisfied by getting money for using your exposure or that you want them to not use your exposure.
And act on your goal.
Go get their money or .. Go get them !!!
If you are going to get them... you might approach not only laywers, but Larry King as well?
He cannot be happy to deal with such lowlifes and might take steps as well being used.
Good luck.

Right, take a lawyer. Do not talk to them without.

I have had look on their website, i guess the whole idea is a fake, they have nothing so far.
Look at this ARHTengine http://mainweb.wpengine.com/wp-content/ ... ology9.jpg
A small, magic black box ...
Our patent pending ARHTengine (pronounced ‘art engine’) utilizes a series of screaming quad core, high performance media processors with integrated hardware accelerators to maximize the throughput of digital content to the surfaceARHT display systems.
One VGA!!! Output and 2 HDMI to generate a hologram....sure thats magic.

The only thing i see, is this advertisement with Mr. King to get some investors, they are already on the stock market, so its only about to grab some money.
Maybe there is already some more people in trouble with that "company".

I hope the best for you Rikk.

For copyright infringement and/or IP theft, most times a cease and desist letter from a law firm does the job - when you are talking about legitimate businesses that have something to lose.. could be much more difficult with scam artists. Regardless, you should never, ever send letters yourself.

Rikk, your Walter artwork was done on your own time and not on company time doing R&D for the game company you work for? If it was on their time, you should be able to use their lawyers... though, you yourself would not likely get a penny if that were the case...

Might as well ask - been curious for some time: Are you Japanese, or an expat living in Japan?

Funny, Larry King will do anything for a buck since leaving CNN.. shit, he would prolly dance real pretty if you tossed nickels at his feet...
