I don't believe we were promised any date for the official release.Spectralis wrote:When is the official release due?
The actual version - which was taken on hold due to too many bugs - is neither well-tested nor qualified as "Release".2. get you the well-tested release version: on october 31, 8pm cest, i will upload the qualified 1.5/2.0 "RELEASE" build.
I'm also waiting for the release version but I might try the test version if it helps clear up bugs quicker. I wish there was a way to have more than one version at a time.Hubby72 wrote:Hm..but i would be glad to have this :

The "official" Version i wait for is the one which we can download through usual Otoy account page - not a forum link.
But this is just my decision du to my situation of work and knowledge with my "old" software state
I do not estimate it in november. But like it seems he is on a good way. I just do not want to play around with too many bugs. I work with DAZ for relaxing from my usual work - i do not need bugs to humble over hehe
do you mean to run parallel installs of different versions? if so, this is easily possible by just creating copies of the daz install folder. they are of course not going to be updated by the dzim, but it doesn't need any installation to get studio run this way - just copy and start it. so every instance can run a different plugin version, or even different sets of installed plugins, if you remove them by hand from the plugins folder. it's also possible to have them open in parallel, depending on system resources...Spectralis wrote:I'm also waiting for the release version but I might try the test version if it helps clear up bugs quicker. better wait for the next one today. the one published on friday wasn't a winner by all means....Spectralis wrote:Ok, thanks! I'll try that with the test version.
