Hi Octane team,
I`m currently testing Octane for C4D and am quite happy with the results. I`m even discussing to install it on at my main client`s site because we want to get away from offsite rendering and harness all GPU power. But there is a really annoying and actually nonsense thing you did with the demo version. I`ve seen all kinds of water marks over the years but your`s breaks the world record so far - so why in hell do you impose a resolution limit? The renders from the demo are totally useless for any purposes other than demo - so please, in order to really test it`s full potential we need to see how it performs at least at HD.
Thanks, K.

I agree that the demo is too restrictive about the resolution. We cannot really test performance before buying it. At least, I was able to get me a student license even tho it's just version 1.20. Now I have a better idea how it perform at high res rendering

you can easily calculate the performance difference by ratio of different resoulutions. Ex. 1920x1080 will be about 4x slower against 960x540. Or will be slower about 4.3x against the 800x600.
This is simple math by dividing total pixel's each resolution.
