Problem with renderer stepping
Hey so I assume some of you have noticed how when you render something it takes longer and longer to update the samples in order to save time or whatever. My problem is that right now its treating a fresh render like an old one. So I have a cube, change to rendered mode and it sticks on 1 sample for a second or two and then bam, its at 200. This is pretty annoying and hard to work with. Any ideas on a fix or how to change this? I also noticed it is doing this in the standalone version aswell.
also just found the answer. One of my gpus is rendering at 2 samples per second and the other is doing 70. Any fix for this? lol my life.
RE UPDATE: after restart everything is fine. If i mess with the gpu settings in the render settings panel it all goes to hell
