Hi Chriz,
I had an issue with motionblur right now, not especially with a deformer, but maybe this info helps in some way.
When your Problem exists at the beginning of the timeline, it seems like it is usefull to expand your timeline in the negative way.. so it does not start at frame 0, but instead at frame -25. (seems to be important for caching frames?)
That fixed a wired animation motion blur problem for me right now. I had different render results in the Picture Manager at the beginning of an animation (when starting the render from Frame 0), than while working in the Liveviewer (with interactive motion blur on "Object Motion Blur") .
I also noticed, that "send all scene data" is off when rendering with full motion blur. (only available with camera motion blur or without motion blur).
So be sure to have Octane Object Tags at your animated objects... I think they are needed to get full motion blur with the Option "Resend only updated Objects". (correct me, if I am wrong).
Hope that helps somehow,
Greetings,
ChrisVis
