Updating Octane Stand Alone for Poser

Hello.
I hope this doesn't sound too stupid of a question/issue. I have had Octane for Poser for a while now but haven't used it a great deal as I found myself overwhelmed by it.
Anyway, I am making another stab at it and just updated to version 2.06.
My problem is, when I open Octane within Poser Pro 2014 (for Windows) the version still says 1.5. What am I doing wrong? :roll:

you need update you poser plugin

NEVER MIND. I'm STUPID.
I forgot there is both the stand alone (NOT for Poser as it is a STAND ALONE - DAH) and a Poser version. I did not install the Poser version. :roll:

OH CRAP!!!

NOW I have to ACTIVATE THIS version even though the last one was ALREADY activated and I have NO IDEA what my password is!

Log in to http://render.otoy.com and go into the OctaneLive Accounts section.

Thanks for the reply Paul.
I have done this numerous times and and the only activation information there is for Octane 1.xx - the first one I purchased - and those keys will not work for 2.6. :cry:

You need both an Octane Standalone and Poser plugin 2.0 license to activate the latest version of the Poser plugin. Have you upgraded to Octane 2.0?

I was under the impression when purchasing that updates were free.

All versions are in my downloads all the way up to Octane 2.6. Will they be in my downloads area if they are not free for me?

Oh, and yes, when I made my original purchase, I did purchase both the stand alone and the Poser version and have licenses for both in my Octane Live account location.
