Is there any possible way that we might be able to get the textures in our octane projects to show up in the texture manager? If there is a missing texture, I have to look through all of the materials to find it. Once in an image texture, they do not show up in texture manager. They show up in project info>textures in the attribute manager, but trying to replace them says "texture was replaced 0 times". I would love you forever if we could get a remedy for this.

That's the one I can actually see them in, the project info, yes. But replacing them does not work.

The main way that would be best is to be able to use the actual new texture manager that Maxon put in 1 or 2 versions ago. Window>Texture Manager, but textures don't show up at all in there.

I understand, but searching for missing textures in every channel of every material can make for a pretty bad experience. I use xrefs a lot, and sometimes 100+ materials in one scene. So if a texture is missing, I'll have to spend an hour+ trying to find where I used it.

If you can figure it out, awesome! If you can't, then you can't.

this tweak can cause corruption on Teamrender, collect scenes, mat previews, etc.. And need much time to be sure it's ok, need many tests to check everythings. I'll check it but no promise. Maybe later than a stabile release

I would be perfectly happy with either, so if you can get it working in the old texture manager (project info) that would be a huge help.

We're going to mention it on the beta forum for C4D and get a dialogue started with Maxon's developers to see if we can't get the SDK improved for 3rd party devs like you and even Stefan with Vray. Is the SDK the limitation? Or is it just the way Octane is integrated?
